Figure Skating Off Ice Offerings

Coach Zeynep developed this class here at Jolt as our first ever off-ice back when we were at our former gym location and paved way for us to expand our figure skating offerings. This class is invite only. Skaters need to be working on their axel or higher.

Mon 5:30pm-6:30pm (July only)
Thurs 6:00pm-7:00pm
Adults
Mon 6:30-7:30pm (July only)
Wed/ Thurs 7:00pm- 8:00pmIntro to Off-Ice is designed to be the starting point of incorporating off ice alongside your on- ice training. This class will give you a glimpse into the exercises and drills to elevate your on ice performance. The class curriculum is on a 2- calendar month schedule:
Weeks 1-4 focuses on exercises that strengthen muscles and movements commonly used on the ice
Weeks 5-6 Intro to Jumps
Weeks 7-8 Intro to spinner training.

We are planning to expand our offerings to include:
Jumps and Plyos- a designated class that trains for stronger jumps through plyometrics training as well as rotations
Mobility and Flow- this class will focus on active flexibility and flow.
